New for 2014, the green series is cut from high grade, cross cut briar. Like the “Green Spray Spigot “ range, the briar is selected for its look and natural flaws.  The 999 is a Rhodesian no matter which way you classify the shape. Bent with a tapering base to the bowl and a squat rim, complete with round shank. Only briar up to standards is selected and given a green stain. Peterson stain there pipes by using ethanol based stains, first dipping the bowl into the stain and then over a naked flame. The pipe is allowed to dry and then given a mirror shine, the dipping method allows for contrasting colouring, with the grain. A hand fitted silver band is fitted above the vulcanite stem with fishtail bit.
